My favorite is from Breaking Dawn, when Edward and Bella are in Brazil: “The taxi continued through the swarming crowds until they thinned somewhat, and we appeared to be nearing the extreme western edge of the city, heading into the ocean.We stopped at the docks.” It shows that Stephenie Meyer does no research, since Brazil is on the eastern coast of South America. Another one: “He lay perfectly still in the grass, his shirt open over his sculpted, incandescent chest, his scintillating arms bare.” This one always cracks me up because “scintillating” means witty. How can Edward’s arms be witty or clever? And Twilight is a series, not a saga, no matter what Stephenie Meyer and her minions say. A saga would imply some sort of heroic exploit, which Twilight does not have. Edit: I suppose you’re right about scintillating, although it’s hardly ever used in that context.
