Personally, I like Greenwich Village better because it’s easier to find my way around but SoHo is close to China Town and Little Italy so you may enjoy walking around this area more. If you haven’t already done so, buy yourself a map at Staples supplies stores and take it with you. Some of the streets downtown can be tricky… even for native New Yorkers like myself.
