What is N-DEx?
N-DEx provides law enforcement agencies (LEA) with a powerful new investigative tool to search, link, analyze, and share criminal justice information such as, incident/case reports, incarceration data, and parole/probation data on a national basis to a degree never before possible. How Does it Benefit Law Enforcement? N-DEx allows for the sharing of criminal justice information currently collected by local, state, tribal, and federal agencies nationwide. The cornerstone of the N-DEx data set is the incident and descriptive information depicting the persons, places, and things associated with an incident. N-DEx brings together incident and case reports, booking and incarceration data, and parole/probation data from law enforcement agencies (LEA) throughout the United States.
