Yes it is over the counter now. However you really need to know about the side effects. Bad gas and anything you eat with oil or grease in it comes right out like an explosion. If you think that you are just passing gas you could be leaving a great big orange mark on your pants. Been there done that. As far as weight loss it is a tool to help you start choosing better foods for you. It doesn’t cause you to lose weight by itself. I stop taking it because of some side effects. Some mentioned and some not. All embarrassing. I didn’t loose enough weight to continue. Good luck, and bring extra clothes if you choose this one.
