What is Scientology as a religion?
As a hungry university student I was walking past a well lit shop front in central London and was invited in by similarly aged people.There was no overt persuasion for me to undertake any of the tests they offered into my psychological profile but by the end of a few visits I couldn’t wait for evening to come so that I could go back there for more of their ‘Auditing’. It is not a religion, merely a brother and sisterhood and just like life you can choose your friends but not your relatives, Scientologists want you in their family and noone elses. Further information will not be forthcoming, I had to leave home as once I had decided not to continue after 2 years with Scientology, my home/parents received daily ‘phone calls asking to speak to me and informing my parents that the ‘church’ is concerned for me and would be visiting. I am known by another name now. Thanks.
