Are all spells wiccan?
The word “spell” has been historically associated w/ witchcraft. Wiccans picked up the terminology along w/ their identification as witches but Wicca is only a few decades old as a religion. Spells are specific individual magical workings. Some witches and pagans consider them similar in nature to prayers. They are not necessarily Wiccan. Other spiritual paths utilize magical works or rituals that could be considered spells. Not everyone uses that terminology. Any magic that is selfish in intention or purpose is dangerous. I aligns the practitioner w/ the forces which will pull them deeper into matter and further away from his or her spiritual nature. This is why magic is considered sinful by the Christian church.
