There is a free 30-day trial of Adobe Photoshop from the Adobe web site. You can just visit http://www.adobe.com and track it down directly from there. After that point, if you are interested in using the software you need to pay for it. If the full Photoshop is just too expensive, consider looking into Adobe Photoshop Elements. It is a slightly less robust, but still very capable, image editor. It is quite a bit cheaper to own. Alternatively, you can look into a program called GIMP. It is an open source image editor. It is entirely free and can do many of the same things as Photoshop. It has a strong following, so you can get help for it online (here and other forums).
