Is adobe indesign difficult to use?
The basics of the software (What you will need to design something) are very very simple. There are many tutorials available on the internet, so you could look into one of those maybe, however, all you need to do is open a document and paste things in. I learned how to use the program in about 20 minutes. If you want to take it to an advanced level, try getting photoshop too. Its well worth it for trimming images. I recommend CS3 unless you have a very good computer as CS4 has higher spec demands, and doesn’t really do that much more as far as I have seen (Unless you are on 64bit operating system) If you get stuck for a place to get the software or need help with the actual program, feel free to email me any time.
