Are Vocational Education completions counted in Post Secondary NRS?
A1. For Core Outcome Measure #5 Placement in Post Secondary Education or Training, appropriate STAIRS records are matched with Illinois Community College post secondary education or vocational training records. STAIRS self-reported vocational completions are not used for NRS Core Outcome Measure #5 Placement in Post Secondary Education or Training purposes. However, STAIRS self-reported vocational completions are counted within the Performance Funding component of the Funding Methodology.
