Are the carved candles scented?
No. Most scents are oil based and as a result interfere with the layering of wax necessary for a carved candle. If scent is desired, you may insert a clear plastic tea light that has been scented in the top of your candle. When the candle is lit, keep it out of drafts that force the flame towards one side of the candle. Most Important: Burn only for short periods of time, for example 1 to 1.5 hours maximum then let cool. Do not let the liquid pool formed by burning become larger than the original cut out area.
