The starter is on the driver side of the transmission/flywheel connection, located on the bottom of the truck. You have to jack the truck up and get underneath it on the driver side to access it. It has 2 bolts attaching it to the transmission casing. You’ll have to remove a large battery cable from the selinoid, as well as a smaller power clip cable, before it will drop out and down.
