What is a Spid Label?

0

A Spid Label, is a white label, about 3 inches by 4 inches with numerous 3 digit codes that we use to identify the various equiptment and options your vehicle was built with. It tells us engine size, transmission type, axle ratio, etc…and ensures we identify the correct part for your vehicle. It is especially useful in pre-1990 vehicles. Click Here to view one. In passenger cars, they are located in the trunk on the deck lid or spare tire cover, pick-up trucks and vans have them in the glove box, station wagons in the spare tire compartment, Camaro’s, Firebirds and Vettes put them in the center console. If you can’t find yours, e-mail us and we will tell you where to look.
