It will be Soylent Green. The destruction of the environment, overprocessed food and overpopulation leaves a future where only the most pwerful have access to nature and private living quarters that are seedy by today’s standards while the majority of the world fights for a few sqaure yards to occupy and the only thing keeping them alive is overprocessed food (?) The only comfort and beauty in your life is your last hour. * It looks more likely we will have a Total Recall future where people are just cogs in a corporate world. People will either be unaware of or accept the lack of personal choice in their lives because a major part of the economy is the inverstment in diversion. Work 40 hours a week at a mindless job and then you go home to gadgets that keep you comfortable and amused. If boredom sets in you can take an imaginary trip to any time and any place and be anybody you wish.
