Why Artificial Turf?
A natural grass sports field is not perfectly flat. It can develop dips, mounds, bumps, holes as these are used regularly, which can cause twisted ankles or other injuries. Synthetic lawn is built on top of flat, level ground. Synthetic lawn or sports field is much safer when compared to natural grass. That’s why sports organizations and schools are using synthetic surfaces. In fact, there are many advantages that have been shown to switching to a synthetic surface: • All weather use • Lower maintenance cost than grass. • Less serious injuries than grass. • Less likely to provoke asthma or allergy attacks. • Eliminates pesticides and herbicides • Eliminates the necessity to water the field. • Much improved drainage compared to natural grass. • Positive environmental effect Artificial turf surfaces have been shown be cost effective as well, when compared to natural grass surfaces.
