Why have Pub Ashtrays become collectable?

0

THE SMOKING BAN HERE! From July 1st all pubs bars and restaurants in England became no smoking. Which means all pub ashtrays will become collectable. Other bans include: Irish Republic: March 2004 Scotland: March 2006 Northern Ireland: April 2007 Wales: April 2007 No smoking in public places means that there will be less and less ashtrays around. Companies who in the past would have blazoned their logo across ashtrays in pubs & bars will stop to produce branded ashtrays, and also start to distance themselves from smoking and its unhealthy side effects. As a consequence of this ashtrays will become rare… and therefore collectable!
