Does the soap bait float?

Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn’t. That is not something we strive for or worry about because it will not effect the bait catching catfish. It all depends on how much air we whip into the bait when we are making it. If the bait does float, the weight of a hook is enough to keep it down.
