There is no separate Airforce Memorial – the airmen’s names are listed on the State War Memorial – but there is a memorial (a granite rock with plaque) to the 460 Squadron RAAF near the Lotterywest Family Area. 39. Where is the memorial to the army nurses who died on Banka Island? It is not in the Park, but at Point Walter in Bicton. The names of the WA nurses killed are listed in the State War Memorial in Kings Park among the service women who lost their lives (above the openings on the river side of the State War Memorial).
