Whats an MBX?
An MBX (short for “Mail Battle Exercise”) is a wargame conducted via e-mail. Each side has a secure listserv account through which players communicate with other players on their team and the umpires. In some games (including this one), each side also has a secure website which contains maps, reports, and other information relating to the scenario. MBXs are typically long-form games which can last months and even years. They are definitely not for those looking for a weekend’s entertainment.
