How much does a REEP cost?
Since you are enrolled at TAMU, you pay regular tuition which covers tuition at the exchange school. However, there are some additional costs which vary: 1. There is a study abroad fee which is balanced somewhat by not having to pay residence fees. You end up paying about $200 more than normal. 2. Airfare/travel costs to your chosen country. 3. Cost of living differences. It depends on where you go and exchange rates, but generally it won’t be more than $300 more than the cost of living here. You will still be living in student accommodations! 4. You will have the opportunity to travel , at your own expense, while abroad. Other students have gone before you. Their budgets are often available to help you plan. Many study abroad scholarships and fellowships exist to aid reciprocal exchange students.
