What is authentic baklava?
Baklava has a long and diverse history so authentic isn’t as straight forward as Tiramisu, a relative newcomer to the dessert scene. However, we trace our baklava to its century’s old Turkish roots with an specific aim to the American, European, and Middle Eastern palate. We only use the highest quality ingredients, hand brush butter on each and every layer of fillo dough, and we use honey and not just sugar. More over it’s what we don’t do that is also important.
