How long to see symptoms for hpv???

0

It can take several months and even years to show any signs or symptoms of HPV after a person has been infected with the virus. Some people will NEVER show signs of it. Most people with HPV have no signs or symptoms of the virus and can go years sometimes without even realizing they have the virus. I was personally diagnosed with HPV after I had an abnormal pap smear. I never showed any signs or symptoms of the virus and for years never showed any signs (besides my abnormal pap smears). Then, about 5 years after I was diagnosed, I develop genital warts from my HPV. It took 5 years! This is one of the reasons why HPV is so common. Most people are unaware they even have the virus and end up spreading it unknowingly to others. Take care!
