No, they are not. Just remember that you need to be very careful in your discipline so not to hurt your puppy. Never hit, kick, or throw any puppy or dog. An obedience class is a wonderful tool to help you learn the correct way to discipline a dog. There is a great program on the Animal Planet Channel called “It’s Me or the Dog” and one on the National Geographic Channel called “The Dog Whisperer.” I highly recommend these programs.
