Derek Jeter was the first Major League player to come to bat in the month of November. He did it in the 4th game of the 2001 World Series, as he came to bat after midnight in an extra inning game. Derek met November with a blast as he hit a Home Run. That was the first World Series game ever played in the month of November. Derek was given the nickname Mr. November. Mr. October is taken by Reggie Jackson.
