How to make a volcano explode?
An easy and fun way to make an exploding volcano is with Coca Cola and Mentos candy. Make a funnel out of a sheet of poster board and wrap it around a 2 liter bottle of Coke that you have set on a small wooden board. Use clay to cover you poster board funnel to resemble a volcano, make sure it goes to the top of the bottle, as well as smoothed out on to the wood to hold your volcano in place. When you are ready for your volcano to explode, simply drop 3 Mentos candies into the bottle of Coke, then step back quickly to what the show.
