Are there long term effects of shrooms?
I’ve tripped on them more than 10 times so far and haven’t noticed anything. I’ve also read in Paul Gahlinger’s book “Illegal Drugs” that they have no serious long term effects or risk of fatal overdosing. Some say there is a risk of contracting HPPD, which is a perception disorder that makes you hallucinate in every day life, but I think that’s more associated with LSD. That, and you would probably have to trip in the hundreds of times realm to put yourself at risk. If you’re just looking to experience them a few times, I say go for it. The experiences can be rewarding and you’ll never know what they’re like until you try them (it’s too hard to explain the experience in words).
