You can crate train the dog which helps with housetraining. Also the dog needs to be on a very strict schedule, start from step one like with a puppy. Let it or take it outside after eating, drinking, playing, or anything exciting. Also at the same time everyday and as many times as possible let your dog outside, when it does go, give it a lot of praise and rewards like treats. The dog may also continue to go in your place because it already smells where it has eliminated before, so if you move somewhere that doesn’t have the smell, it will help.
