Is stable world peace possible?
The world will never be completely stable and peaceful. When resources start running out then we should expect a rash of new wars as nations battle to protect their prosperity and in some cases ensure their very survival. There simply will not be enough water for the farms which feed both countries, so the choice will be to battle it out or sit by and let their people starve. Democracies tend to work out their differences through negotiations rather than armed conflict.
