Stakeholders have formed a new society – the Valemount Area Recreation Development Association (VARDA). Their main roles are to manage, develop & promote outdoor recreation in the area as well as oversee the implementation of the SRMP. They will review the plan and recommend changes that will accommodate future growth and address any problems that may arise.
