What is Lip sync delay?
In the special ‘96’ menu (see Q. 34) there is an option to delay the audio from the player by 1 video frame. This item is not presented as an option unless the 800 is fitted with the VE10 Progressive card. If you select this option then the audio will be delayed to compensate for the delay introduced by the de-interlacing process. You may not need to use this setting, we suggest you view a number of movies and decide. The default setting is ‘Yes’.
