What is the limewater test?
Actually, it doesn’t “test for the presence of limewater.” You use limewater to test for the presence of carbon dioxide by bubbling it into the limewater.. Also, it’s not even that complex. Any chemistry student who knows what “a small amount” is can make a solution of limewater using calcium hydroxide and a centrifuge, and you can figure out what’s happening by writing out the chemical equation.
