What is the Mood Disorders Clinical and Research Unit?
It is a 15-bed psychiatric inpatient unit that specializes in the assessment, treatment and research of mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder (manic-depressive illness). The unit is located on Ward East 1 in the Detwiller Pavilion of the UBC Hospital, located on the campus of the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC, Canada.
