Students should be of a good all round practical standard, with an interest in all sports and be able to cope with the depth of understanding required for the theory element of the course. Much of the work is classroom based. How will I be assessed? The course includes a practical component worth 60% of the final mark and a written exam worth 40%. The practical component will cover 4 activities chosen from the following range: Games Gymnastics Dance Athletics Outdoor and Adventurous Fitness and Health Students will get assessed as a performer and in a number of other roles such as organiser, leader/coach, choreographer and official.
