I bought a used 2006 Hyundai Sonata V6 ( with a clean record – from carfax ) today and while I was driving home, I noticed the “check engine” light on. The engine seems fine and the car drives exceptionally well. What do you think is causing this problem? A: Well, since you just bought it today then simply take it back and have the seller fix the problem. Even if you bought from a private seller they should be willing to fix the problem and most used car dealers give at least a 30 day warranty.
