The W3C specify the conventions for which websites should comply with. The reasoning for this, is to help make all browsers handle things is the same manner. Current Conventions: • HTML – XHTML 1.1 • CSS – CSS 2.1 All websites designed by MacKillop Web Design are validated with the W3C’s online service to ensure they remain compliant. Your website can then optionally include the W3C certification logos (below), or just the text links located in the footer at the base of the website. The Future HTML 5 is currently under development, and draft specifications have been created.
