Te best way to get old W-2 forms is by contacting the former employer and asking them to re-issue the W-2. If that doesn’t work you can get the information from the IRS that was submitted under your SSN by emloyers. The phone number is 1-800-829-1040 (press “0” until you get to an operator for faster service). The only drawback to this is you will get only Federal information not state. You may be able to contact your State’s Department of Revenue or Taxation for the state info. Some states do not have the info available.
