How do I loose fat % around my stomach muscles (Rectus and Transversus abdominis region)?

The simple answer to this question is to reduce the overall body fat% which will then also reduce the fat deposits around the abdominal section. There is no other way round this. If you have a ‘large belly’ and decide to do sit-ups then you are wasting your time. Performing sit-ups will strengthen your abdominals but not burn enough fat% in order to make your ‘six pack’, Rectus abdominis, visible. In short the fat will still sit on top and be visible. I have also made an observation that lots of people hook their feet under a solid object and perform sit-ups. Performing in this fashion abdominals will not primarily be activated as hip flexors (front of your upper leg muscles) are assisting to complete this movement. If your body total fat% is below 10%- 8% then performing any exercises that involves your abdominals will enhance the appearance of your ‘six pack’. But you have to get it down to 10%- 8% first. So answer to the above question is, perform regular cardio-respiratory exercise
