How to drill holes in glass jars?
Trust me I learned the hard way! Trick is you NEED a Diamond Drill BIT and to follow the rules of how to cut the hole. Depending on the size of your hole you buy the size you need.For cord hole to make jar lights.YOu need to keep your drill bit lubricated while you are drilling, I used a squirt bottle of water, and it took two people to do this,(thanks mom) We filled a dishpan half way with warm water put the jars in the water that we were to drill all but the top of the glass you are drilling, while we were drilling the hole the water was being splashed over the hole and squirted on the drill bit. It didnt chip and it worked very nice, but follow all the directions and make sure you use a DIAMOND DRILL bit.
