WHAT IS LEAD POISONING AND HOW CAN IT BE ABATED?
Lead poisoning occurs when lead is ingested either through paint chips and/or dust, lead in water, or other sources. Abatement can be accomplished at various levels. Some work can be done yourself with minimal equipment. Other more involved work should be done by a qualified person. Contact the department at 345-5350 for more information.
