When I was a young child, I believed in Santa Claus. As I grew older, I came to realize that the Santa Claus of legend does not exist. However, I still believe that there were probably one to a few men (such as St. Nicholas; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Nicholas ) way back in history who probably the inspiration for the legend, but I don’t know how all of the elements of the flying reindeer and the elves came to be. ************ “ptrask: Are you a Mormon?” You obviously haven’t been reading the Mormon section of AB. 😉 Yes, I am LDS. I am also one of the biggest defenders of the faith in this forum.
