We recommend the use of Eppendorf Safe-Lock tubes, because the tube lids do not accidentally open at high temperatures. If tubes with “unsecured” lids are used, we recommend placing the tubes in the IsoRack on the exchangeable thermoblock and closing the lid of the IsoRack.
