How did persephone become a god?
#2 answ: Her father was Zeus, God of the Gods, and her mother was Demeter, goddess of earth and agriculture. Her story is that Hades, God of the Underworld, fell in love with her and wanted to marry her. Zeus approved, but Demeter did not. So Hades kidnapped Persephone while she picked flowers and took her to the Underworld. She then became the Goddess of the dead, but she was already the Goddess of the fertility of the earth.
