What is an ePub?
A. An ePub (electronic publication) is a free and open eBook standard for “reflowable” content, meaning that the text display can be optimized depending on the device or hardware being used. It has the file extension .epub and has been embraced by many publishing and technology companies, including Sony, Google, Random House, Harper Collins and Adobe ®. You can read ePub formatted books on your computer, on many mobile devices, such as iPhone and BlackBerry, and on select eReaders such as the Sony Reader. In order to read an eBook using Adobe ® Digital Editions, it must be an ePub.
