Is the ocean classified as a biome?
Well, the ocean is considered as a “marine.” It is a biome of the world. You know that there are many animals living at the north pole, like polar bears. With global warming, the ice bergs are slowly (more or so quickly) melting away. Polar bears can only swim for a limited period of time. Since the ice bergs are melting, they are getting farther and farther apart. Now, polar bears are unable to swim the distance from the north polar ice cap to Greenland, or any other places that they go. They die along the way because of the such long distances. Now, the polar bear population is quickly declining because of Global Warming.
