What is an RDSO?

0

RDSO stands for Residual Dwelling Site Opportunity. Whereas previously, once the easement was purchased, no further residential development was possible, an RDSO, if permitted, provides the opportunity to construct a residential unit within a two-acre site (see Q13). An RDSO must be constructed and used for an agricultural purpose. The RDSO location is not determined when the farm is preserved, but can be established at a later date. The location of the RDSO requires approval (see Q14).
