What does up to 24 / 8 Mbps mean?
Our Standard Broadband ADSL services are provided as up to 8 Mbps Download by default. For a small additional fee of £5 per month, on exchanges that support it up to 24 Mbps Download is available. The exchanges that up to 24 Mbps are available at are commonly referred to as “21CN Enabled” by BT. You will also need an ADSL2 Compatible Router to use the up to 24 Mbps service. All of the Routers we currently supply for use with this service are compatible, but if you choose to use your own equipment you should bear this in mind.
