ADB or USB dongle?

Currently dongles come in ADB and USB flavors. Older computers (Macs with the old style gray case) usually have ADB ports. The current generation of computers (iMac, blue G3, G4) have USB ports. If you wish to use dongles on both types of computers, there is a third party adapter made by Griffin Technologies. NOTE: FlowJo Version 4 only runs with a new USB dongle. This dongle is not the same as the version 3 dongles. When you upgrade from version 3, we will send you the new dongle (click here for more info on upgrading).
