What does TBR mean?
TBR stands for To Be Released. When a .ca domain expires it is held at CIRA (the .ca registry) for 30 days. If a renewal is not made within those 30 days the domain is then deleted from the registry and placed in the TBR stage. The TBR stage gives existing .ca domain owners the chance to register expired .ca domains before they are released to the general public.
