NEA’s Board of Directors consists of at least one director from each state affili­ate plus an additional director for every 20,000 NEA active members in the state. MSEA, with 71,000 members, has four NEA Directors who serve on both the NEA and MSEA boards. There are also NEA directors representing retired and student members of the Association. With the other MSEA Directors, NEA Directors are responsible for the fiscal affairs and general management of the MSEA and implements Association policies.
