What is the Argos uniform?
Hi I’ve worked for Argos for 3yrs now and they’ve had the same uniform since I started. Plain black trousers, male/female short sleeved polo shirts in either red/turquoise. We do get special t-shirts for new cat launch in the new books colour, and on the odd occasion when a new high-value product comes out we get shirts dedicated to them eg, Wii/DSi etc. They are in the process of rolling-out a smarter uniform. Just a plain red/bue shirt in either short sleeve or three quarter length. Your team leader/trainer will usually give you the option of what kind of shirt you can order.
In both my local argos stores all staff wear the ame uniform, black trousers OR skirt, down to you which you choose and a red/blue or yellow polo shirt with the argos logo on. Short sleeved but quite a few peopl wear long sleeved shirts underneath. I shouldn’t imagine it would be a problem as long as it was plain, no logos or decorative trims/ribbons and in a neautral colour such as white or black. this is a good question to ask at your interview, it shows your looking at the future working with them asking about the uniform.
