Is it Sadako Yamamura or Yamamura Sadako?

In Japanese and Korean (and Chinese as well), names are listed by specifying last name first. Now, it’s a common virtue among Ring fans to list the names in the order they appear in the language a certain version was made in. However, if you see written somewhere Sadako Yamamura and Eun-Suh Park instead of Yamamura Sadako and Park Eun-Suh, it’s still correct, but written with last name first. Also, for both Japanese and Korean, there are verious romanization systems. So for example, Ring: Saishuushou appears as Ring: Saishsh on some sites, as well as Eun-Suh is sometimes spelled as Un-Sue or something like that. It’s all correct, just a different romanization was used. Back to the top.
